Through its work in Rwanda, SOS Children’s Villages has touched the lives of more than 129,000 families, providing them with support, care, and hope for a brighter future.

Donatha Ndibwiyunkunda obtained a loan from the Village Saving and Loan Association (VSLA). She started a small business to buy bananas and prepare banana juice to sell to her community members as her income generation to support her children.

Children have rights and it is important for them to know their rights, to understand how they should be treated, and how they should treat others. This is why 93% of children in alternative care at SOS Children’s Villages in Rwanda have received Child Protection Training.
